Presenter: David L. Dickinson

David L. Dickinson is a professor of economics and senior research fellow at the Center for Economic Research and Policy Analysis at Appalachian State University and a research affiliate at the Economic Science Institute of Chapman University. David was an early adopter of experimental economics methodology to study labor market issues, including on- and off-the-job labor and leisure choices, work team incentives and incentive effects of different dispute resolution mechanisms. His current research program in sleep and decision making has broad application and includes implications for labor markets where shift work dictates differential
levels of sleepiness across employees.

Innovation Talks are brought to you by the Design and Innovation Studio for Health team. These talks highlight discoveries and new directions within and across the focal areas, centers and cores and emerging initiatives of the College of Health Solutions.
