John Templeton Foundation Online Funding Inquiry (Opportunity Kick Off)
The John Templeton Foundation is accepting project ideas through its Online Funding Inquiry (OFI), the required first step in a competitive, multi-stage grantmaking process. The Foundation supports interdisciplinary research and public engagement projects aligned with its core funding areas across science, philosophy, religion, and human flourishing. The OFI is a brief online application submitted through the Templeton Portal that captures key elements of a proposed project, including its significance, activities, timeline, budget request, and participating team. Selected applicants may be invited to submit a full proposal for further review. Funding decisions are made according to the Foundation’s grant calendar, and applicants should ensure alignment with program priorities before applying. For this cycle, OFIs are due July 15, 2026 (11:59 PM EDT). For institutional coordination or support, please contact Michelle Govani ([email protected]) at the ASU Foundation.
Open Q&A time will follow the presentation.
