  • Academic events
  • Open to the public
  • Professional and career development

The widely anticipated Learning on Graphs (LoG) conference returns—after three years as a fully virtual gathering—with its inaugural in‑person edition hosted at ASU’s West Valley campus. Supported by the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, LoG brings together the frontier of machine learning on graphs and geometric learning, renowned for its emphasis on rigorous, constructive peer review.

Key dates and registration

  • Abstract submission (both tracks): August 22, 2025
  • Full submission deadline: August 29, 2025
  • Rebuttal & author–reviewer discussion: October 1–15, 2025
  • Notification of acceptance: October 20, 2025

  • Conference live: Dec 10–12, 2025 at ASU—in‑person attendance and virtual participation will be offered.

Organized by and supported by

  • Hosted by Arizona State University—backed by the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences and led locally by Professor Yixuan He.
  • Program Chairs include experts such as Christopher Morris, Ellen Vitercik, and Mihai Cucuringu, as well as an expansive advisory board.

Community and legacy

Since its 2022 launch, LoG has rapidly scaled:

  • LoG 2022: ~2,800 registrants, 266 submissions, $30,000+ in reviewer awards.
  • LoG 2023: ~3,600 registrants, 387 submissions, $45,000+ in reviewer awards.

In 2025, the conference expects hundreds of submissions and several thousand attendees—both virtual and in-person—continuing the mission to catalyze progress in graph and geometric ML.
