Lunch on Wednesday

Event description

  • Campus life
  • Professional and career development
  • Sustainability

Take a break in your week and join us for Lunch on Wednesday, a casual conversation series for College of Global Futures undergraduate students. Over lunch, you’ll connect in a small group setting (20 students) with special guests from the CGF community — including alumni, faculty, and Global Futures Laboratory experts.

Each session is a chance to:

  • Share a meal and build community with fellow students
  • Engage in informal conversations with people doing meaningful work in sustainability and futures
  • Ask questions, exchange ideas, and talk about what’s on your mind

Sessions are lightly facilitated by CGF Student Engagement and Career Services, but the conversation is shaped by you and your peers.

This session - Guest Speaker: Kelly Saunders

Kelly (MSL alum) will share how her lifelong commitment to sustainability has shaped a diverse career path—from serving as an Executive Team Leader at Target, to managing sustainability festivals at ASU, to launching her own entrepreneurial ventures. She now works with Ten Across, a platform that uses the U.S. I-10 corridor as a lens for examining the nation’s most pressing 21st-century challenges: water, energy, commerce, governance, land use, equity, and risk.

Space is limited! Seats are capped at 20 undergraduate students per lunch. RSVP is required, and once spots are filled, a waitlist will be started.
