MA Applied Project Showcase

The Department of English at ASU invites all on November 20, 2025 in Ross-Blakley Hall room 117 on ASU's Tempe campus for the MA Applied Project Showcase! We have a lineup of stellar presentations from our MA students in comparative literature, literature, linguistics and applied linguistics, and writing, rhetorics, and literacies. 

The schedule of presentations are as follows:

• 12:15-1:00 p.m.: Benjamin Suddarth, "Transformative Feasting," chair: Horan 
• 1:00 -1:45 p.m.: Pamela Lang, "Sociopolitical Dimensions of Genre Romance: Authority Over and Policing of Women’s Fantasies," chair: Thompkins and Bjork
• 1:45-3:15 p.m.: BREAK
• 3:15-4 p.m.: Ashley Nichols, "ESL in Untraditional Environments: Baseball," chair: James
