In the Making: You | An in-person event for incoming School of Art students

Join us in person on July 16 for an opportunity to engage with your future artistic community! Manifest your fall semester by designing a vision board, contributing to our community welcome sign and chatting with a current student to get the inside scoop on the School of Art beyond the academics.

What to Expect

🎨 Short Presentation

Get inspired with a look at student work from across the majors, plus highlights on upcoming events, clubs and first-semester tips and advice.

✂️ Vision Board Collage & Welcome Sign Activity

Create your own vision board for the upcoming semester using supplied materials, including magazines, collage paper, stickers, and more. You'll also have the chance to contribute to a collaborative community welcome sign that may be displayed during Fall Welcome.

💬 Chat with a Current Student

Connect with current School of Art students Kat and Claire, who will be on hand throughout the event to answer your questions and share their experiences heading into the fall semester.
