The Max Underwood Homecoming Lecture

ASU's Homecoming is a time to reconnect, and there's no better place to do that than at The Design School.

Join President's Professor Emeritus Max Underwood, FAIA, as he returns to campus for a special Homecoming gathering designed to bring together alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of The Design School.

More than a traditional lecture, this event is an opportunity to come together in conversation. Max will be joined by Herberger Institute Dean Renée Cheng and Architecture alumni for a thoughtful discussion exploring creativity, mentorship, the evolving role of design and the future of design education.

Designed to foster meaningful connections across generations of designers, this gathering creates space for conversation, connection and a shared sense of belonging while looking ahead to the future of The Design School.

The afternoon also includes:

• The Max Underwood Homecoming Lecture, featuring an engaging conversation with Max Underwood, Dean Renée Cheng and Architecture alumni.
• Open Studios, where you can explore current student work, connect with students and faculty and experience the creativity shaping today's Design School.
• An Alumni Reception, offering time to reconnect with classmates, faculty, students and friends while strengthening the relationships that make our Design School community so special.
