Mayo Clinic-ASU Alliance for Health Care Signature Programs (Opportunity Kick Off)

Research Development Opportunity Kickoff events are introductions to specific funding opportunities or resources that enhance application competitiveness. Introductions provide an overview of requirements, advice and lessons learned from experienced faculty, and a chance to network with others. Sponsored by KE Research Development.

Join us to explore the 2026 Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University Alliance for Health Care Signature Programs, featuring insights into the Collaborative Seed Grant and Summer Residency Programs. Pursue bold, interdisciplinary health research and clinical innovation through two tracks:

Seed Funding Program: $100,000 awards for 18-month, cross-institutional projects focused on high-impact biomedical or health research. These collaborative projects have a strong history of leveraging Alliance support for external funding and driving impactful science.

Summer Residency Program: ASU faculty spend six immersive weeks at any Mayo Clinic site (May–August), working directly with clinical and research teams to validate ideas, explore new collaborations, and develop transformative projects.

Participants benefit from expert support, access to advanced clinical and research environments, and a collaborative community dedicated to advancing the future of health care.

Letter of Intent submissions open in December 2025 | LOIs due February 2026 | Full proposals due April 2026 | Awards granted Summer 2026 (Seed & Residency)
