Conversation to reinforce the importance of NATO, transatlantic security, and democratic values in the legacy of Senator John S. McCain

NATO will welcome Sweden and Finland as the Alliance’s newest members at the upcoming Washington D.C. summit. Our namesake, Arizona Senator John S. McCain was one of NATO’s most ardent supporters and treasured his long and constructive diplomatic relationships with members of the alliance.

In his legacy of defending democracy across the globe, the McCain Institute and ASU are pleased to host a public conversation on the importance of NATO.

This event will be a part of the official civil society engagement for the NATO summit, led by the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) along with consortium partners the Atlantic Council, GLOBSEC, German Marshall Fund, the Hudson Institute and Arizona State University.
