Monster Menagerie

Join faculty and peers in a casual setting on Monday, October 7th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. as we discuss popular monsters and the spooky science behind them! Creatures like the Demogorgon from "Stranger Things," the Xenomorph from Alien, and classic Halloween frighteners like vampires and werewolves will take center stage. We’ll also discuss scary parasites. Why do these monsters behave the way they do? Could speciation and evolution ever actually lead to the formation of these species?
