Listen to the Center of Muslim Experience in the US Fellows present their research on the local Muslim experience

Our two Undergraduate Research Fellows and our Resident Center Fellow are carrying out oral history documentation projects under our "Muslims and Global Phoenix” initiative, which aims to increase understanding of Muslim Phoenician identity and suggest ways forward for creating greater inclusivity.

Presenters:

Omera Ali: Muslim Students - The ASU experience

Najim Asefi: Becoming American - Afghan refugee voices

Simra Maheen: Connecting Communities - Muslim multicultural businesses

Followed by a Q&A session, and a light reception.
