Come learn the valuable skill of drawing blood while you wait to save a life through blood donation. Certified instructors will be available to walk you through the five-minute lesson on administering blood draws. Learn essential techniques and best practices used in clinical settings, using real materials and manikin arms, thanks to the folks at Desert Dental. At the same time, students and employees are welcome to donate blood with professionals from Vitalant, giving everyone a chance to give back and support local health care efforts.

This event is ideal for students pursuing health-related careers or those interested in contributing to community wellness. Space is limited, and registration is required for one or both activities.
