Podcast Episode Title: Joy and Justice with Dr. Kamilah Majied
This podcast discusses joy and justice in the context of black wisdom and Buddhist teachings. We talk about "entering the palace of oneself," the roots of black music and how it embodies what the Buddha talks about, the purpose of freedom.
The discussion facilitators are Dr. Dana K. Harmon, PhD, MSW, LICSW, an Associate Professor of Social Work and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who brings over 25 years of experience as a social work practitioner, educator, and advocate with expertise in topics such as Black males and families, spirituality and religiosity, and social justice, and Dr. Neal A. Lester, PhD, the Founding Director of Project Humanities and a Foundation Professor of English.
