Prickly Pear Workshop

Join us for a hands-on demonstration of how to harvest, clean, and prepare prickly pear fruits foraged from campus. We will begin with a short discussion and demo. We will finish with an opportunity to participate in processing and a walk around campus to harvest your own.

We will meet at Garden Commons for 30 - 40 minutes under the shade pavilion and for those interested, we will walk to the south side of campus to harvest fruits. Please bring your own buckets or baskets to collect your own harvest. Kitchen tongs are also helpful! We will have extra gloves.
