Take in the action front and center while ASU heads to space! The first ASU-led deep-space mission is scheduled to launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Thursday, Oct. 13, just after 10:19 a.m. Eastern. Led by ASU’s School of Earth and Space Exploration Regents Professor Lindy Elkins-Tanton, the mission will send a robotic spacecraft to Psyche, a metal-rich asteroid that could provide clues into the formation of planets.

Head to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which offers close public viewing, launch commentary, bleacher seating and access to exhibits and attractions.
