How do you get your scholarship from a manuscript to a printed book? Eric Zinner of New York University Press will discuss pitching to a press and finding the right press for one’s work, writing a compelling proposal and the many steps between contract and publication. The presentation is followed by a Q&A. One-on-one meetings with Zinner will be available in the afternoon.
Bio: Eric Zinner is Associate Director and Editor-in-Chief at New York University Press. He publishes scholarship in American studies, cultural studies, literary criticism, media studies, communication, and American cultural history.
