Explore the history and contributions of the Hispanic/Latino community in Chandler, Arizona, featured in a new exhibit on display at the Polytechnic campus Library.
"Querencia: Place and Belonging in Chandler" is an oral history project by Rafael Martinez, ASU historian, assistant professor of Southwest Borderlands, and co-director of the Latinx Oral History Lab. The project collects stories of community members from historical Hispanic and Latino neighborhoods from across decades and generations
The stories of the first 12 participants in this project are featured in the library. Learn more about the project in ASU News.
The exhibit is on display during regular library hours until Dec. 15, 2024. Check Polytechnic campus Library hours.
