Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, renowned Michi Saagig Nishnaabeg musician, academic, and author of eight books, will be reading from her new book Theory of Water followed by a conversation with ASU Professor and CIB Director Natalie Diaz. If you’re interested in the poetics of story, and story sovereignty, formal and experimental creative writing, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, our relationships to land and water and one another, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
