GAW 2026 examines the roles of democracy and authoritarianism in both past and present cases of genocide. Some of topics explored will include: Democracy and Genocide; Technology and Genocide; Authoritarianism and Higher Education; Religion, Authoritarianism, and Genocide; Civil Rights and Resisting Authoritarianism; Fascism, Populism and the Risk of Genocide.
