Active learning works best when technology supports engagement rather than creating barriers. In this fast-paced, 45-minute interactive workshop, explore how to use Zoom Whiteboards in Canvas to create seamless, interactive learning experiences. Learn how to reduce login barriers, keep activity instructions visible with embedded slides, and gather real-time student feedback through structured entrance and exit tickets.

Objectives:

• Share Zoom Whiteboards so students can join live activities without additional login steps.
• Use anchored instruction slides to keep directions visible throughout an activity.
• Create accessible entrance and exit tickets to gather real-time student feedback.

Target Audience: ASU educators and designers

• Participants will attend remotely via Zoom (a link to Zoom room will be emailed the morning of the training).
• An ASU Zoom account will be required to join this session.
• Please register using your ASU email.
• Time is based on Arizona time.
• Registration closes 15 minutes before the event start time.
