The Labriola National American Indian Data Center invites you to a Short Story Workshop with fiction writer and poet Stacie Denetsosie (Diné). Denetsosie received her Master of Fine Arts from the Institute of American Indian Arts and her Master of Arts from Utah State University. Her work has appeared in Yellow Medicine Review, Phoebe Magazine and Cut Bank, among other publications. Recently, Torrey House Press released her debut short story collection, “The Missing Morningstar and Other Stories,” on Sept. 12, 2023.

The theme for this workshop will encircle the heart using poetry to address self-healing and self-love practices. Community members are welcome to bring their lunch and join us for the afternoon. The workshop will take place in Hayden Library, room 354.

We are excited to have Stacie provide a workshop for students!
