Sol Rhythmz Dance Festival 2026

Join us for this year’s Sol Rhythmz Dance Festival! Sol Rhythmz is a celebration of African diasporic culture. This FREE event features guest artists, dance workshops, live music and performances. Participants will take a journey through dances from West Africa to the Caribbean. The day ends with a fête featuring food, DJ, dancing and local vendors.

Saturday events:
10:45 a.m. – Afro Cuban class with Kelly White 
Noon – Soca/Caribbean Contemporary class with Dr. Shola K. Roberts 
2:45 p.m. – Manding Traditions class with Akosua Akoto 
4 p.m. – Fête 

Registration is free and open to the public. 

Parking Information: Nearby paid parking is available in Lot 27 and the Apache Boulevard parking structure. Lot 27: $3 per hour with 1-hour limit. Apache Boulevard Structure: $4/hour with maximum $16. The ASU Tempe campus is also accessible via the light rail.
