The Sonoran Dogs

The Sonoran Dogs were initially formed in 2011 to perform with Japanese guitarist Maro Kawabata at for an Arizona tour. Following these initial shows, their musical journey continued through the Southwest and across the globe. Known for their blend of traditional, progressive and original music, "The Dogs" have crafted a unique and crowd-pleasing bluegrass and roots sound.

The band's lineup features singer-songwriter Peter McLaughlin, winner of the 1988 Winfield National Flatpicking Guitar Championship. Mark Miracle is beloved for his exceptional lead vocals, harmony skills and mastery of the mandolin. Tyler James holds it down on banjo and was the 2008 Rockygrass Banjo Champion and finalist at the 2012 Winfield National Banjo Championship. The latest addition to The Dogs is Joelle Tambe-Ebot, who contributes fantastic skills on bass, lead and harmony vocals. Experience The Dogs and their Arizona bluegrass sound in the wonderful acoustics of the historic ASU Kerr!
