Join us for SpaceHACK 2025, a two-day hackathon where students collaborate to address global sustainability challenges using satellite data! No prior experience needed—just bring your creativity and passion for problem-solving.

2025 Challenge Tracks
 

  • Food Insecurity in Urban Phoenix – Use data-driven solutions to tackle food access challenges in Phoenix’s urban landscape.
  • Cultural at the Heart of Sustainable Cities – Explore the evolution and the impact of public health across the Globe.
  • Environmental Migration in Sahelian Africa – Explore how climate change drives migration patterns and human resilience in the Sahel region.  

What to expect

  • 20+ hours of fun.
  • Handcrafted sustainable swag and delicious food (in-person only).
  • Team-based problem-solving.
  • Keynotes: NASA's Kate Marvel and Lunasonde's Jeremiah Pate.
  • Partner with students from six international universities.
  • Hands-on experience using satellite data tools.
  • Engage meaningfully with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Present your innovative solutions for a chance to win prizes!
