Still Starring: Reframing Aging Women in Film

How are older women portrayed on screen? What do these portrayals say about our cultural values and stereotypes? This event invites participants to consider Hollywood’s conscious or unconscious perpetuation of ageism and sexism and those that celebrate more authentic, complex representations of aging gender representations.
