Tournament format

This tournament will be held in two parts, a group stage and a random draw knockout bracket.

Group stage

The group stage will follow the draw of the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League. Teams will compete in a round robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout bracket. Teams will earn points based on their wins, draws, and losses. Teams earn 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and no points for a loss. All group stage games will be played with the competitive switch enabled, 5 minute halves, and no extra time.

Tie breaking procedure

Group stage ties will be decided based on the following steps:

1. Head-to-head performance

2. Most goals for

3. Least goals against

4. Goal differential

5. Penalty shootout

Knockout bracket

The top two teams from each group will be entered into the knockout bracket draw. The draw will be random with two guarantees:

1. No team will play a group stage opponent in the round of 16

2. No group winners will play one another in the round of 16

Group stage matches will be decided by cumulative score of a two-game, home and away series. Each game will have 5 minute halves with the competitive switch enabled. If at the end of the second game the teams are tied, we will play extra time and penalty kicks if necessary to break the tie. The final and third place matches will be a winner takes all single game.
