Design Challenges
Thursday, October 16 – Sunday, October 19 | Four immersive days at ASU MIX Center
Step into the future of innovation with Tech for Change: ReMix the Future. This four-day immersive design challenge invites creators, technologists and changemakers to imagine, design and prototype public-interest solutions. Choose your track and collaborate in fast-paced challenges to reimagine how technology can transform health, environment and sustainability, and workforce development.
Participants will have access to MIX Center’s cutting-edge immersive labs, including a four-story Enhanced Immersion Studio, game design labs, and a virtual production volume; where ideas go from concept to experience.
Tracks
- Startup Design (24 hours): Ideate and pitch experiential ventures tackling real-world issues.
- Game Design (48 hours): Build interactive worlds and levels using no-code platforms and game engines.
- Immersive Installation (72 hours): Prototype installations in a multi-sensory studio environment.
- Virtual Production (72 hours): Create future-of-cinema XR stories using state-of-the-art production tools.
