Are words really “the skin of our thoughts?” This interactive event invites participants to think deeply about conversations and phrases people use everyday without thinking much about the substance of our spoken communications. From phrases and clichés to social norms many rarely question, we’ll explore what makes us pause, laugh, or simply say, “Hmmm.” Let’s discover how everyday and seemingly mundane words and phrases hold surprising depth and meaning when we take a moment to reflect on and unpack them.
