Film Screening and Conversation
In collaboration with Arizona Interfaith Movement, The Sonoran Desert Sanctuary, and the Anderson-Arroyo Foundation

Join us for a film screening of Three Chaplains.

Three Chaplains is a 2023 documentary film that follows the lives of three Muslim chaplains in the US military and explores the challenges they face while serving. Reactions to their service from non-Muslims range from skepticism to accusations of terrorist ambitions and extremism. Within their Muslim communities, they navigate disapproval and a lack of understanding. Despite these challenges, the chaplains’ commitment to serving the US and their dedication to safeguarding the First Amendment freedom to believe and practice religion is noteworthy.
