This is Too Much (A Black History Month Event)

Wednesday, Feb. 1: “This is Too Much (A Black History Month Event)”: 7 p.m.–9 p.m.–ArtSpace West

The opening reception for this juried installation presented by The Academies of South Mountain High School with student work that has a lot to say about the world they inherited. While they often need to share their frustration about this world, at other times, these students want to forget about all the chaos and celebrate the beauty and joy they experience as well. This exhibit is reflective of both of these sentiments.
