Vietnam Veteran Pinning Ceremony Breakfast and Volunteer Opportunity

Join us in honoring those who came before us. The Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services, in partnership with ASU, will host a special Vietnam Veteran Pinning Ceremony on Veterans Day, November 11, as the final commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War.

We are seeking 30-60 student veteran volunteers to assist with this powerful ceremony by escorting Vietnam veterans to their seats and pinning them during this meaningful moment of recognition. This is an opportunity to show gratitude to the veterans who paved the way for us and, for many, to honor family members who served during this era.

Volunteers are welcome to participate in the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade following the ceremony or sit in the VIP section.
