Join us for a heartfelt evening under the stars at the ASU MIX Center’s 'Moonlight Movie Nights' series, presented by the ASU MIX Center Community Advisory Board and The Sidney Poitier New American Film School.

On Feb. 9, 2024, we'll be featuring the beloved classic 'The Wiz,' starting at 7 p.m. inside Theater 201. This event is FREE and open to the public, so gather your friends and family for a fun night out!

Don't miss out on these wonderful activities leading up to the movie:

  • 6 p.m. - Free Food* from Aaron Michael's Concessions and Activities (*While Supplies Last)
  • 6:45 p.m.- Preview of "Mapping Blackness" by Professor Carla LynDale Bishop
  • 7 p.m. - "The Wiz" Movie

Ease on down to the Plaza at Mesa City Center, 50 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201 for an uplifting celebration of the vibrant culture and historical richness depicted in The Wiz.
