WORLD HERITAGE SITES IN ROMANIA UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF UNESCO
The presentation is devoted to the eight locations in Romania which have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO: the Danube Delta , a group of churches and monasteries in Moldavia, the fortified churches from Transylvania, Hurezi Monastery, the wooden churches in Maramureș, the Sighişoara Citadel, the Orăștie Mountains and the Ancient and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians.
Cătălin D. Constantin, PhD in Philology and PhD in Architecture, Vice-dean Faculty of Letters in Bucharest. He has received the medal of honor awarded by KulturForum Europa, a German Foundation founded by Vice-Chancellor Hans-Dietrich Genscher and he has organized multiple photography exhibitions in Romania, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Poland, Greece, Ireland, Italy and Portugal.
