Coming to Harry Wood Gallery, \u201cThe Anatomy of a Swarm\u201d explores preconceived notions about sexuality, gender and embodiment through the lens of the insect world. By decentering the human perspective and embracing arthropods, creatures known for their alien anatomies, social structures and reproduction, the show reframes taboo topics like STIs, queerness, sexual trauma and asexuality within symbolic and scientific frameworks. This approach allows artists to explore the sexual experience through perspectives that merge biology, identity, humor and trauma. Then a graduate student at ASU, Chris Lundry made seven trips to Timor-Leste throughout this period and worked as an United Nations-accredited observer during the Aug\u003C\/span\u003E.\u003Cspan\u003E 30, 1999 referendum. He brought his camera on each trip.
