He is a scholar of digital health innovation and equity, the director of the Digital Health and Racial Justice Lab, and the Principled Innovation faculty catalyst for the College of Global Futures. His work explores the social impacts of AI use in health care, with particular emphasis on how AI-enabled health technologies and the practices of care that emerge around them can reproduce existing social biases and inequities.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EJanna Goebel, Ph.D. - \u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDr. Janna Goebel specializes in sustainability education and community engagement at Arizona State University where she is Clinical Assistant Professor and the Inaugural Faculty Lead for Community Engagement in the School of Sustainability. In 2022, she established a fully online work-integrated learning course called Enterprise-based Sustainability Education through which her students create educational materials about sustainability for industry partners from small fintech startups to Fortune 500 companies. Each session will build off each other, helping to introduce healthy and sustainable writing habits to faculty and graduate students. Light refreshments and drinks will be served.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EMost of our time at meetings will be spent writing, with short intervals to develop strategies for meeting deadlines and overcoming obstacles. Learn how to set yourself up for success, avoid negative self-talk, and practice habits that make it easier to keep writing on a regular basis. Unlike many other writing workshops, we will not be focusing on style or writing for popular audiences, nor will we exchange or discuss each other\u2019s texts. Instead, our focus will be on setting aside dedicated time for writing and learning strategies that increase productivity and lower the stress and anxiety of writing.
