After receiving her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela and completing her residency at Temecula Valley Hospital in California, she pursued additional training as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) through The Menopause Society. Her professional interests center on primary care, women\u2019s health, and menopause management. She specializes in helping adolescents and adults build a more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies through a weight-inclusive, evidence-based approach. Liz has extensive experience supporting individuals through life transitions, including menopause, perimenopause, and eating disorder recovery. As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Be Body Positive Licensed Facilitator, she is passionate about helping people nourish themselves without guilt, restriction, or diet culture. Liz believes nutrition should support health, resilience, and quality of life while honoring each person\u0027s unique experiences, preferences, and goals\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\u0022uds-highlighted-heading\u0022\u003E\u003Ch3\u003E\u003Cspan class=\u0022highlight-gold\u0022\u003ELeigh Lewis\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/h3\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cp\u003ELeigh Lewis\u003Cspan\u003E has nearly 25 years of clinical experience helping patients navigate the complex relationship between hormones, physical health, and mental well-being, with a specialized focus on perimenopause and menopause. Her unique background includes experience in community mental health, medical training at Bastyr University, and advanced postgraduate specialization in integrative women\u0027s health.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EA Certified Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society since 2011, Dr. Lewis has also completed extensive postgraduate training in reproductive mental health through Massachusetts General Hospital\u0027s Center for Women\u0027s Mental Health and Postpartum Support International. She is passionate about providing evidence-based, personalized care that empowers patients through education, prevention, and informed decision-making.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cspan\u003ELewis is a strong advocate for accessible healthcare and reproductive rights and is committed to providing compassionate, inclusive care for all people experiencing menopausal symptoms, including transgender men.
