NEA Big Read Phoenix: Book Giveaway
The NEA Big Read: Phoenix is a celebration of Indigenous literary arts and culture throughout the Valley, presenting over over 25 talks, workshops, performances, book clubs, art exhibits and other virtual events inspired by "The Round House" by Louise Erdrich in February and March 2021. To help share the joy, we're giving away over 250 books for free.
To enter the book giveaway, all you need to do is complete a registration form for this event.
To ensure equity and access, books will be given away at random through a lottery process, with priority for members of Indigenous communities. Please note: you must live within the state of Arizona or contiguous tribal lands to enter.
The book giveaway will close on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Phoenix MST. Selected individuals will be notified that week. Books will be available for pick-up in Glendale, Phoenix and Tempe throughout the month of February. Shipping may be available for individuals outside of the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, too.
This giveaway is presented in partnership with Arizona Humanities.
Don't worry! If you're not selected for the giveaway, you can always borrow a copy of "The Round House" in print, digital or audio formats through the Phoenix Public Library or purchase your own through our friends at Palabras Bilingual Bookstore.
