"Shared Breadth" unites the ASU Symphony Orchestra and ASU Wind Ensemble in a collaborative concert exploring sound, myth and musical exchange. Featuring Assistant Professor of Composition Fernanda Navarro’s "Sisyphus" and a new work by Addison Hill (BMus, '25) "Prometheus's Negotiations," the program highlights bold contemporary voices in conversation with each other and with the world around them.

Step into a world of enchantment in this special collaboration between the ASU Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Music Theatre and Opera.

The evening begins with Debussy’s “Fêtes” (Festivals) from Nocturnes, a vibrant celebration of color and movement, followed by his iconic “Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune” (Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun), a dreamlike reverie inspired by myth and nature. Poulenc’s playful “Les animaux modèles” (Model Animals) brings a cast of characterful creatures to life in a witty and elegant orchestral suite.

The Interdisciplinary Arts & Performance (IAP) program is proud to present HOUSE OF CARDS, or Chiang Kai-shek, a meditation on the fallibility of memory, the power of a human mind to tell itself stories, the fragility of the human endeavor, and the persistent and undeniability of the world in all its impossibility. New York theatre artist Will Bond speaks a kaleidoscopic performance text of playwright and historian Charles Lee, Jr. ASU interdisciplinary arts professor Marianne M.
