Join us for Veteran Storytelling Hour on Thursday, November 7, from 5–7 p.m. at Songbird Coffee & Tea House in Downtown Phoenix as part of ASU's Salute to Service Week! Veterans from ASU and the community will share their poetry and prose in a night of reflection and storytelling.

Want to have your work read at this event? Submissions are open until October 15!

Criteria:

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Filipino American History Month, and National Arts, and Humanities Month, the West Valley Campus of ASU will host a student and community-facing event series for the second week of October. “Traditions, Languages, and Stories" is designed to build community and create opportunities for teaching, learning, and collaboration across languages and storytelling traditions. The power of storytelling and other language practices foster cohesion and self-determination within communities by transmitting, cultivating, and preserving traditional knowledge.
