The internationally acclaimed duo of mezzo-soprano Angela Brower and pianist Eckart Sellheim return to Arizona State University for a recital of art songs by Hector Berlioz, Antonin Dvorak, Alban Berg and Aaron Copland.

A Mesa native and an ASU alumnus, Brower has sung at many of the leading opera houses and festivals in the world, including the Bavarian State Opera, Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Salzburg Festival, the Paris Opera and the Glyndeborne Festival.

Eckart Sellheim has had a distinguished career as a pianist and educator throughout the world as well as an ASU School of Music Emeritus Faculty member.

The School of Music presents a masterclass with internationally acclaimed Mezzo Soprano and Arizona State University Alumnus, Angela Brower.

A native of Mesa, Arizona, Brower has appeared in leading roles with many of the world’s most prestigious opera houses, including The Vienna State Opera, The Bavarian State Opera, Salzburg Festival, The Royal Opera House Covent Garden and The Paris Opera.

Her signature roles of Dorabella in Mozart’s "Cosi Fan Tutte" and Cherubino in Mozart’s "Le Nozze Di Figaro" have been recently released on Deutsche Grammophon.
