In the month following the seminar, students will have the chance to compete for prizes in the Biotech University Contest. Students who produce multimedia content about biotechnology will be eligible to win $10,000 in prizes, including scholarships or a grand-prize trip to a biotechnology conference overseas.


At Biotech University, experts will explain what biotechnology is, give hands-on demonstrations of how it’s done and focus on the scientific, business and political issues surrounding the science.

Arizona State University’s 4th Biennial Pave Symposium on Entrepreneurship and the Arts in collaboration with the UW-Madison Bolz Center for Arts Administration presents a national symposium on creativity and new venture creation in the arts. Participants will explore the processes, outcomes and impacts of new venture creation in the arts through hands-on workshops, speakers, pitch sessions and research presentations.
