On Oct. 13, 2023, we will be featuring the hit Disney's "Brother Bear," starting at 7:30 p.m. on the large exterior screen. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public, so bring your friends and family along for a fun night out!

Emerging Artists I presents original choreographic work by third-year dance graduate students Isabella Lepp and Dean Saifullin. The Emerging Artists performances feature MFA thesis projects.

Join us to experience Cuban Artist Reynier Leyva Novo's METHUSELAH (2022), a virtual Monarch butterfly projection that follows a butterfly avatar along its journey from southern Canada, across the United States, into Mexico and back again as part of the species’ annual reproductive cycle. This digital artwork will be displayed on the large exterior screen at the ASU Media and Immersive eXperience Center (MIX) in Downtown Mesa, in collaboration with MediatedX Research Lab, the Phoenix Art Museum and El Museo del Barrio.

Join us for a day of inspired storytelling as we celebrate our graduating students this Spring with three programs of original short films and portfolio reels that showcase the talent, vision and hard work of the students of The Sidney Poitier New American Film School.

Matriarchs of Washington Park:The Women who perservered through racism in segregated Mesa. This exhibit is presented by Bruce Nelson, Carla Bishop (The Sidney Poitier New American Film School) and local artists.
