Want to learn how to draw blood? Students can gain this important health care skill from a certified instructor in just five minutes! You’ll learn essential techniques and best practices used in clinical settings through real materials and manakin arms thanks to the folks at Desert Dental.
Then students and employees are welcome to donate blood with professionals from Vitalant, giving everyone a chance to give back and support local health care efforts.
Don’t let the flu invade ASU! Throughout the month of October, ASU employees eligible for benefits can receive a free flu shot as part of the employee wellness program. Employees not eligible for benefits can receive a regular flu vaccine for $50 and high dose for seniors for $85. Cash, checks and cards are accepted. HIP participants can earn 500 points.
