Join us for the inaugural Women Veterans and Military-Connected Students RISE Conference — an event centering on a community that embodies Resilience, Independence, Strength and Empowerment, serving as a beacon of support and solidarity for women who have served or are connected to the military.

The ASU Women Veterans and Military-Connected Students community provides a supportive and empowering environment for female veterans and military-connected individuals at Arizona State University.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. If detected early, nearly all breast cancer can be treated successfully. Assured Imaging will be onsite at the University Services Building at the Tempe campus on Thursday, April 18 from 8-–11 a.m. offering 3D mammogram screenings for breast cancer.   

Women are eligible for a digital mammogram screening if they:

This session will focus on working memory and information processing in the visual cortex. Working memory is pivotal for executive functions and adaptive, goal-oriented behavior. Its importance becomes particularly evident in cognitive disorders such as Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, autism, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, where impairment of working memory is observed.

This event will highlight the excellent work being done by ASU students in imaginative fields like science fiction and fantasy writing, as well as notable student futures thinking being done in other disciplines throughout our university.
