Suffering from a debilitating disease, Helen Moore was ready to die. But when her son, Jayden, honors his mother's wishes, he finds himself on trial for murder. But when an upstart ACLU attorney joins the defense team, it becomes clear that this trial will have implications that go far beyond the rural Louisiana courthouse. Dignity poses the question: If we can choose how we live, can we also choose how we die?
