One More Step Recovery Walk and Health Expo
As America deals with another drug epidemic, the time for action is now. Addiction is a disease that crosses all walks of life and it is imperative to end the stigma of addiction and increase the awareness of recovery as a lifestyle.
Active Minds, a mental health stigma reduction group, and Recovery Rising, ASU's collegiate recovery program, have partnered to host the One More Step Walk. In order to increase awareness of recovery as a lifestyle it takes building connections inside and outside of the Sun Devil community. Not only will this walk be a community gathering of solidarity, it will also be an avenue to connect the community to resources and recovery friendly businesses. Thank you for your part in helping move the cultural narrative one more step. Located on the Old Main Lawn.
