The Arizona Imaging and Microanalysis Society hosts an annual conference every spring. This annual meeting provides a forum for members to discuss research and exchange ideas, as well as an opportunity for learning about new techniques and concepts.
Scientific Poster Session: Undergraduate or graduate students who use microscopy in their research are invited to submit an abstract and present a poster. The abstract submission deadline is March 8th. Prizes will be awarded for best poster using light or EM for both undergraduate and graduate/postdoc levels. Details will be posted soon.
Image Contest: This year we will not have an art themed poster session but will have a competition for best image that must include some component of microscopy but can be artistically enhanced or altered. There will be a first and second place prize given at the conference. Details will be posted soon.
Image Analysis Workshop: On Thursday March 21, 2024, there will be an all day Image Analysis Workshop that will include a review about different analysis platforms such as Cell Profiler, ImageJ/FIGI, as well as information about the ethics of image editing. More details and the registration link will open soon.
