Have you ever wondered where the inspiration for zombies and vampires comes from? In nature, some creatures become zombies due to being invaded by bacteria, fungi or parasites. As all humans know, there are blood suckers among us. Come to ASU Library's Naturespace in Hayden Library to learn more about these organisms that helped inspired a few of our favorite horror films and games.

Discover the unique and rustic canvases of nature as you paint on wood slices. Learn techniques, experiment with colors and create stunning, nature-inspired artwork that you can take home. Head over to ASU Library's Naturespace in Hayden Library to unleash your creativity and bring these natural canvases to life with vibrant colors and intricate designs.

Are you interested in books? Want to know more about book challenges and book banning? Do you like trivia blended with competition? Then come to ASU Library's Banned Books Trivia, held in honor of Banned Books Week! Test your knowledge of banned titles, educate yourself on the issue of book banning, and meet others to compete against. A grand prize will each be awarded to the two winners.
