April is Poetry Month!  To celebrate, we'll be creating our own blackout poetry.  Blackout poetry is a mixture of poetry and art made by taking any form of printed text and blacking out the unwanted words to create a poem or statement.

We'll have everything you need, including withdrawn books as the raw material for your poetry, but feel free to bring your own materials.

We'll be located on the first floor of Hayden Library in the area by the south entrance on Thursday, April 18 from noon to 3 p.m.

Discover the unique and rustic canvases of nature as you paint on wood slices. Learn techniques, experiment with colors and create stunning, nature-inspired artwork that you can take home. Head over to ASU Library's Naturespace in Hayden Library to unleash your creativity and bring these natural canvases to life with vibrant colors and intricate designs.

There are many options and platforms for sharing information about yourself and your research online, but how do you know which one to choose?

Join the ASU Library for this Researcher Support Conversation to learn more about how using the ORCID unique identifier can promote the visibility of your research and ensure all your research is connected with you. Since ORCID integrates with funders, publishers, data repositories and other research workflows, save more time conducting research and less time managing it.

Join us on Wednesday, April 10th, at 6:00 PM to hear from queer organizers about the history of the queer organizing and how we can learn from these historical examples in the modern day. We will also be discussing what we learned as a group.

Animals have always been amazing architects.

Join ASU Library's Naturespace to learn about beaver dam building and try to build our own dams out of materials that beavers use. After we build our own dams, we will test out how sturdy they are by putting them through the water test.

Stop by and explore animal architects with us.

Join ASU Library's Naturespace in Hayden Library to learn about species within the natural history collection. In this Nature Journaling exercise, we will get up and personal with one specimen within the collection. Observe, document and ask questions about how nature forms patterns.
