Join the ASU Library for an open house inside Hayden Library’s Wurzburger Reading Room. On Thursday, March 20, we will explore selections from the library’s Judaica rare books collection with Rachel Leket-Mor of the Curation and Research Services team. The Haggadah—a Hebrew word for "telling" (plural: Haggadot)—is a performative text that retells the biblical Exodus story while being read, sung, and enacted during the Passover Seder (the Jewish holiday procedural meal).
Join a hands-on creative workshop inspired by fashion history! This interactive workshop hosted by the ASU FIDM Library in Los Angeles is a salute to the paper dress trend of the 1960s. ASU students will have an opportunity to cut, paint and sew a Tyvek® dress. Attendees will practice personalized styling and have a chance to display their designs in the library after the event.

“Nihidzill: Reflections of Strength and Story” is an ongoing project by Indigenous contemporary artist Carissa Eich that joins photography, graphic design and Navajo patterns to create compelling imagery. Each image tells a story behind Navajo traditions, from the sacred symbol of eagle feathers to the water technology that windmills provide throughout the Navajo Reservation.
